This is not a list of convicted spammers, but should only include those that you believe may be spammers in terms of the regulations in South Africa at this time. Please also include reasons why you believe the spammer committed the crime.

Dr. Brian Jude (Power seminars, dynamic seminars, www.drjude.co.za, www.seminarsforgrowth.net) | Unable to unsubscribe (tried several times). When I sent him the standard response (from main page), he replied with all the details where he bought his "bona fida mail list", but he still kept sending me spam!. Apparently, he bought the list from the person/ institution below.

DVD Rebel | Sending countless mails to an address that's only available if harvested from the web.

EconoBEE (EconoServ SA), 011 4831190 | We constantly receive email from this company to users on the systems we maintain. Quite clearly harvested as we receive them on info@ addresses that never send outbound mail. I received a mail from them recently to my personal account and responded, requesting that they supply me with the details of where they obtained my email address. No response as yet. Their emails are sent out by Certech Bulk Email and SMS marketing.

EconoBEE's response - The response(below) was sent through on 27 September 2007 at 10:45am. (40 minutes after the original request was made) Dear Thomas,

Your email is hereby acknowledged.

1) Your email address has been removed from our database. We, and our service provider, always respects unsubsribe requests. There is and always has been an option on our newsletters to unsubscribe and you have been receiving our newsletters for the past 12 months without a complaint.

2) We obtained your email address from one of our partners, Steve Banhegyi and Associates t/a Trans4mation who has done work for us as he believed that you would be interested in areas such as change management, BEE, social and enterprise development. We are genuinely sorry that these topics are of no interest to you.

3) In terms of the act, we have fulfilled our duties, by giving you the required responses within the applicable period.
